I am looking for a band to get downtown and get some good inspiring music in downtown Austin. 2 main goals in the vision, I want to minister and love on the lost downtown and also create an environment that is inviting to the Church to come and 1 enjoy this city but 2 help bring in the harvest. My music roots are Funk Blues and Rock. I play guitar and sing and am raedy to get serious. I would like to have something available to submit this October for SXSW.

Contemporary band from church plant seeking drummer for weekly worship service in North Austin. Crossroads Community Church is a daughter church of Hill Country Bible Church Northwest and currently meets in the Mopac/Parmer area. Passion movement style music is most of what we play. Part time music director/worship leader needed for 250 member Presbyterian Church (USA) congregation in Round Rock. Responsibilities Include the following: 1. Rehearsing praise team on Wednesday evening (basic knowledge of music theory and group rehearsal techniques). 2. Leading music during worship two times on Sunday mornings (Must be proficient in either guitar or piano). 3. Working knowledge of music, specifically contemporary Christian/praise and worship music styles. 4. Working with worship team to plan and conduct a coherent flowing worship service. 5. Recruiting new music team members and musicians while at the same time nurturing those that currently serve. 6. Helping put together the budget for worship music. 7. Working with pastors in music selection for worship services. 8. Working with the pastors in the planning and leading of special services at Easter and Christmas. We are looking for someone who feels called by God; whose music leadership comes from his/her relationship with God. This position is one that offers a plethora of musical and spiritual leadership possibilities in a congregation that is growing in numbers and excited about their faith in Christ.
